Internet Update and Other Things

:note: the radio

The Internet situation has been fixed for the time being. Paul is a genius. Thank you, Paul. We’re going to return some items and re-arrange how it’s set up, but it’s at least working now. I made some brownies with cream cheese swirly mixture in them and shared them with him and Callie for his efforts.

I’m so freakin’ glad to be on break for two weeks. I have absolutely no plans at all which is kind of weird but kind of relieving at the same time. I have no obligations.

I have just learned the the 12th Lemony Snicket (A Series of Unfortunate Events) book will be released October 18th. I have put it on my Amazon Wish List, just for fun. I like those books a lot; they’re such easy reads. Also, what is the difference between “progressive-scan” DVD players and normal ones? Our DVD player punked out and died right when we moved, so we’ve got tons of DVDs and no player and we need to get a new one.

I wholeheartedly recommend Ritz Chips Original flavor. They taste just like Ritz crackers, but they’re more “chippy” and edible. Oh god are they delicious. Pretty f-ing salty, but delicious.

keeping with my style of being more of a geek than is for my own good. The difference between a progressive scan and normal DVD player would only be seen on a HDTV… it’s a way of doubling the resolution from a standard DVD signal. But it can’t hurt to have even on a normal TV, just your TV wouldn’t have a difference in image quality. But a DVD player with progressive scan will almost definitely be a better quality (i.e. player lasting) than one without it.

Blah, im such a freaking nerd.
